Sunday Oct 25, 2020
OOOOooooOOOOooooOOOOoooo!!!!! WE'RE BACK with another SPOOOOKY Exorcist movie to cover! This one is WAY less SPOOKY than the previous Exorcist movie! Joining us to cover this masterpiece is none other than writer and director, Meena Ramamurthy!
Here's the official synopsis for this movie:
"Regan, the tortured and possessed teenager from the first Exorcist, is back...and now she's...hot? But also 17? Weird! The demon is back too and now he's called PAZUZU and he is half-locust or something? Remember how horrifying and memorable the first movie was? This movie has NONE OF THAT! Awesome, right? You'll definitely get your moneys worth by watching this movie!"

Monday Oct 12, 2020
MUAHAHAHAHA!!
Welcome to our first EXORCIST episode! Get ready for 2 hours of spooky content, the likes of which you've probably seen elsewhere, let's be honest. This movie is scary as hell and we all know it. Strap in, everybody, because it's gonna get wet, wild and weird. Here's the official description of the film:
"A young girl lets the devil inside her and wants to spend the rest of her life Netflix and chilling in bed. But an old priest and a young priest have something to say about that! But don't worry, she's got plenty of curse words to say back to them. Things get pretty sloppy and there's a demon statue with a giant snake dong."
Our guest for this episode is writer and self-proclaimed liberal snowflake, Jenna Quigley!!

Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country (w/ Chandler Smidt)
Sunday Sep 27, 2020
Sunday Sep 27, 2020
To watch this movie....or not to watch this movie....
This is it! The last of our original Star Trek series coverage! This series goes out with a banger! Returning guest Chandler Smidt joins us once again as our franchise closer to help us say goodbye to the crew of the Enterprise once and for all.
As always, here is the official synopsis for this classic film:
"A big explosion in space rocks the Klingon's to their pink gooey CGI core's. A peace treaty between the Klingon's and the Federation of human old people needs to be signed but a pirate Christopher Plummer tries to stop it. Kirk and Bones get sent to a space gulag, where Kirk ALMOST kisses his doppelgänger, darn! And Samantha from Sex and the City tries to bang Spock or something."
Be sure to listen to the end to hear about the NEXT FILM FRANCHISE that we'll be tackling. Here's a hint: it's SPOOOOOOKYYYYY!!
But until then... Once more unto the breach, my friends...

L2W Presents: In Memory of Tarik Jackson - Austin Powers in Goldmember
Saturday Sep 19, 2020
Saturday Sep 19, 2020
Recently, we here at L2W lost a former guest of the show and friend, Tarik Jackson.
Reek was an extremely funny and kind-hearted person. He was happy to help us out when we recorded this episode 8-months-ago without even really knowing what our show was all about. It didn’t take much to get him to come and essentially be funnier than we were at our own show.
Reek was also the first guest that we had come back a second time. We had such a blast with him doing this Goldmember episode that we had him back again on our M:I:3 episode.
This Goldmember episode was done as a part of a patreon-only series back in January 2020, in which we covered all three Austin Powers films. We did this series as part of a testing ground that was never really planned on ever being released from behind our patreon paywall.
It feels right to release it now so that fans of his and newcomers alike can hear how funny he was one more time. We here at L2W are proud to present this previously unreleased episode of the show and we are honored to have been lucky enough to know Tarik Jackson and for him to be a part of our show as well as our friend.
May he rest in peace.

Star Trek V: The Final Frontier (w/ Paisley Smith)
Sunday Sep 13, 2020
Sunday Sep 13, 2020
Go climb a rock! JK! Stick around! And join Matt, Colin and Harris along with special guest Paisley Smith as they dig deep into the intricacies of arguably the worst film of the Star Trek franchise, Star Trek V: The Final Frontier!
Here's the official synopsis:
"After a steamy bang sesh in the woods, Chekhov and Sulu meet up with Kirk, Bones and Spock, who also happen to be camping nearby, to attempt to stop Spock's half brother, SYBOK, from meeting his maker. Klingons are in hot pursuit too, oh, and Uhura does a sexy fan dance for....reasons."
The real villains of this movie are stingy studio heads!

Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home (w/ Matt Jablin)
Sunday Aug 30, 2020
Sunday Aug 30, 2020
It's time for us to find some time-traveling whales and take the VOYAGE HOME, baby!
This movie is all kinds of fun. It's non-violent, so it's good enough to watch for the whole family, especially if you don't count all the swear words! This one's got jokes, pizza, Spock viciously murdering a punk-rocker without consequence, oh and whales! This fish-out-of-water plot is a barrel of laughs, so come on and listen along as we pick it apart!
Here's the official plot description:
"A giant space butt-plug shows up looking to chat up some whales, but whales are extinct in the future, which means Kirk and Co. have to go back in time to 1986 to find some. Hilarity ensues as they slingshot around the sun to find themselves challenged by the things we find commonplace in society like money! public transportation! computers! and nuclear wessels! Can Kirk save the whales and find time to bone down the sexy whale scientist, who seems to care about nothing else besides the ethical treatment of whales?!?!"

Star Trek III: The Search For Spock (w/ Shelbie Janocha)
Sunday Aug 16, 2020
Sunday Aug 16, 2020
The journey continues and the search is on, y'all! The search for mah boi, SPOCK, that is!
Just because this is an odd numbered movie doesn't mean you should write it off just yet! This movie has everything! Space worms, rampant crimes against the Federation, immobile alligator dogs, slightly bigger space worms, the actor Christopher Lloyd, a large-breasted Klingon babe for about 30 seconds, and the biggest slimiest space worms this side of the neutral zone!
Here's the official plot description:
"Spock is dead, or is he?? Kirk rallies his homies together to break all kinds of laws and steal the Enterprise so they can go save their dead friends brain while wearing weird-ass civilian clothes. Reverend Jim Ignatowski and his demon dog try to cut the homies down on a dying planet that looks remarkably like a movie set. Can Kirk and the gang save Spock, Kirk's son AND his sweet leather jacket? (Hint: no...no they can't)"
L2W has been and always shall be your...FAVORITE PODCAST!

Here's the official plot description:
"An old foe returns to fuck with Kirk and tha boyz. Can the crew of the Enterprise get their shit together and pull the alien worms out from their ears enough to beat this big-chested baddie??"
This PODCAST is a dish best served COLD!!!

An Interview with VFX Legend Michael Fink
Friday Jul 24, 2020
Friday Jul 24, 2020
L2W was lucky enough to land an exclusive interview with VFX legend, Michael Fink, to discuss his work on Star Trek: The Motion Picture.
Michael was part of the effect props and miniatures team, where he worked under Douglas Trumbull. He has since gone on to become the visual effects supervisor on many, many films and now teaches at USC's School of Cinematic Arts in Los Angeles, where he is the holder of the George Méliès Endowed Chair in Visual Effects.
Hopefully this is the first of many special interviews of this kind. Thanks to Michael Fink for being a part of this show!
If you like Star Trek and technical visual effects, you will love to hear what he has to say! Enjoy!
