Welcome to the 2nd of 3 TWO-FER franchise coverage series we'll be doing!
With the Mortal Kombat franchise officially in the bag, we can now move onto Harris's weird-ass pick....
MAGIC MIKE!!!
2012's greatest movie? IT'S. QUITE. POSSIBLE.
This is a movie about the greatest art form, that which is the art of DANCE. Behold this feast for the eyes....via your ears!
Here is the official synopsis of this classic film:
"Alright, so Mike is a male stripper who works at a strip club, wherein he is the only employee who knows how to dance. He seduces a young stud to join his weird gang of pectoral-clad, oiled up bro's to make some moola. But the young stud turns out to actually be a young DUD and starts to mess it all up. Also Mike might be magic, he might fall in love and Matthew McConaughey might actually say 'alright, alright, alright' in this movie. Classic."
Joining us for this sexy ass movie is none other than writer and comedian, Rose Surnow!

Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me (w/ Jonathan Maurer)
Monday May 17, 2021
Monday May 17, 2021
Hey everyone, yeah, so this was the first week in a long time that, thanks to this month having 5 Mondays, we didn't have anything planned to release this week! Well, lucky for you THE STARS HAVE ALIGNED and this made for the perfect opportunity for us to release a previously unreleased CLASSIC episode!
You see, in the beginning, when L2W was just a glimmer in our eye, we decided to record 3 "trial run" episodes, for which we decided to cover the Austin Powers series of films. We figured that these episodes would be released in time as bonus episodes, or if one of us got sick or something.
Well, we ended up releasing the first Austin Powers episode around the Christmas holidays in 2019, then we ended up releasing the Goldmember episode in September 2020 to honor the tragic passing of our friend and guest for that episode, Tarik Jackson. But that left Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me to float around in limbo until the next random opportunity to release it presented itself.
Well...That. Time. Is. NOW!
Our friend but also longtime arch nemesis, Jonathan Maurer, joined us for this solid gold episode! Also, Matt's voice is really tingy and lacking any sort of bass for some reason.. Maybe he finally completed puberty since then? The reason is unclear...
Anyhow, follow Jonathan on Instagram here: @phantomg6

Round 2...FIGHT!
Mortal Kombat, we hardly knew ye! This is it! The 2nd and final installment of the MK franchise of films. What did we think of it? Has time been kind to this disasterpiece? Tune in to hear what we thought!
Friend and co-host of the Guy-talians Eating Italian podcast, Jesse Lyons, joins us for this one!
As always, here is the official synopsis for this classic film:
"Liu Kang, Kitana, Johnny Cage, and Sonya return to continue the fight for Earthrealm. Spoiler alert: Johnny Cage is taken out like a bitch in the first minute of this movie though! The rest of the movie is just random character after random character jumping out in cheap costumes every couple of minutes really.."

MOR TAL KOM BAT!!!
WELCOME to the first of THREE two-fer franchises that we will be covering on THIS PODCAST RIGHT HERE.
Matt's franchise pick is up first and that, of course, is "Mortal Kombat." The two films that comprise this ultimate franchise are 1995's "Mortal Kombat," followed by 1997's "Mortal Kombat: Annihilation."
This episode covers the Paul W.S. Anderson 1995 classic film and not the 2021 version (although that one may pop up soon if you are a subscriber of our Patreon page!)
Our guest for this episode is the host of the NerdOutcast Podcast, Chris Bashen! If you're IN THE KNOW, you'd know that the L2W boyz were recently guests on Chris's show to discuss the "Predator" film series. Well, guess what? WE GOT HIM TO ENTER THE THUNDERDOME AND COME TO OUR SHOW, MUAHAHAHA!!
As always, here is the official synopsis for this classic film:
"A Hollywood elite, Veronica Vaughn, and Liu Kang are summoned by Highlander to enter Mortal Com....ahem, KOMbat, an ancient tournament that is held once every hundred years or something. If they lose then our world will be destroyed, but if they win...then we get to hear that Halcyon + On + On song from "Hackers"...you know the one."

Monday Apr 12, 2021
ICE to see you once again! We're back for the final installment of the Batman Motion Picture Anthology: Batman & Robin! Hope you like puns because this one's GOT 'EM ALL!
Also, this is a very special episode for a different reason....IT'S L2W'S FIRST BIRTHDAY, BABY!!! Our very first episode (as License To Watch) was released exactly one year ago today! Congratulations to anyone who has stuck with us since the beginning. And a VERY special pat on the back to anyone who has stuck with us since the VERY beginning (when we were still Bondcast...James Bondcast!) Thanks to all of you who listen, WE LOVE YOU GUYS!
Returning once again to help us close out a franchise is L2W staple, Chandler Smidt!
Here is the official synopsis of this film:
"Batman and Robin's nipples return once again to defeat the frozen Austrian Oak, Mr. Freeze, and the delightfully hammy Poison Ivy. Batgirl also joins the gang too, nipples and all! There isn't really a plot so...um, that's it!"

Batman Forever (w/ Aaron Cooley)
Monday Mar 29, 2021
Monday Mar 29, 2021
Riddle me this, riddle me that, who's afraid of a podcast about a bat....man..? Ok, look, we're not great at riddles, but it's okay because neither is the Riddler in this movie!
Our friend Aaron Cooley, the writer and creator of the upcoming Showtime series, "The First Lady," joins us to break down the classic Joel Schumacher joint, BATMAN FOREVER!
In one of our longest episodes ever, we find out ONCE AND FOR ALL whether or not there is an elusive four-hour-long 'Schumacher cut' lying around somewhere. We also try to figure out the 'Top 4' films of Jim Carrey based on IMDB's weird algorithm.
Here is the official synopsis of this classic film:
"Now equipped with rock-hard nips, Batman heads off in his ribbed-for-her-pleasure Batmobile to stop the evil villains, Two-Face and the Riddler. Lots of implausible and multi-colored hijinks ensue. Dr. Chase Meridian is impressed, and rightly turned-on by, Batman's 5th grade-level knowledge regarding bat genealogy. And full adult male actor, Chris O'Donnell, appears as teenaged Robin. This is indeed, a movie."

Batman Returns (w/ Jacob Strick)
Sunday Mar 14, 2021
Sunday Mar 14, 2021
This movie isn't number one, but we certainly treated it like number two!
BATMAN IS BACK, Y'ALL!!! And he's here again to deliberately murder some goons! This movie kinda rules but also...has its issues, I'd say.. But look, we had a lot to say about this one. This episode is almost two and a half hours long! That's way longer than the actual movie!
Joining us for this classic episode is none other than our BOI, Jacob Strick!
Now check out the official synopsis for this film:
"Gotham City is still a crap hole, only this time it's a Christmas crap hole! A 33-year-old penguin-man parties with some clowns in the sewers while a wirey secretary prances around the city dressed as a gimp. This pisses Batman off so you can bet he is RETURNSing to light up some mofos. Literally! He lights a man on fire in this movie."

Before Battinson and Batfleck, before Nolan and Christian Bale....
There was BURTON and KEATON!!! That's right! We're talkin' BATMAN (1989), BABYYYYY!!!
This is the 1st of our 4 episode journey into the Batman Motion Picture Anthology, and boy are we happy to finally be here!
Joining us for this first entry is none other than writer and comedian, Jordan Pridgen!
Here is the official synopsis of this classic film:
"A weird 1940's, but also modern, version of Gotham City is protected by a strange creature of the night known as BATBOY...or something. Meanwhile, a chemically deformed freak named Jack dresses up like a clown and somehow convinces a bunch of mobsters to be his lackeys. How does he do it, you ask? Clever marketing!! Seriously, how sweet are those Joker jackets?!? Also, Prince sings a bunch of songs and we are all better for it."
